HoS Patch 0.95:
Today we bring you our first update after our worldwide release of Heroes of Soulcraft! We try to keep you up to date as much as possible about changes we make. In this patch we concentrated on ironing out some bugs that we became aware of and you noticed and informed us about on the forums. Thank you for being patient with us while we improve our game based on your insanely valuable feedback!

New Features

  • Added the ability to Chat at the end of the game.
  • Made easier to see which Towers are Nexus Towers and which are invulnerable to damage.
  • Added the possibility to support us via Donations.
  • If you forgot your password, you can now get help recovering your account.
  • Game Mode selection improvements: Default game mode fits to device & last selection will be saved.
  • "Player joined" messages now appear when a player choses a Hero to let you know which Hero joined.

Dalia: Our favorite plant girl is getting a slight change to how her Root skill works. It slows less and is not so frustrating to play against.

Skill: Roots

  • Slow amount now increases to max 40% while the area grows (down from 50%).
  • Damage Scaling reduced to 100%/120%/140% from 120%/140%/160%

Yaku: This little slugger can really destroy a team with a fully charged blast of his laser. We increased the cooldown of the ability, so you can not spam it so much and the enemy can play around it.

Skill: Lazor

  • Increased Cooldown to 18/16/14 from 12/11/10 sec.

Mirage: The swift mage had a couple of issues with her empowered attacks and slow projectiles. We fixed her skill bug and buffed her projectile speed.

Skill: Lightball

  • Increased projectile speed from 8 to 10 (6 to 10 for empowered Lightball)
  • Fixed empowered visualization bug

Keely: Her rapid fire is one of the most powerful skills on the game. We want to keep her burst potential but we decreased her mana regen by about 30%.

Jin Long: Despite his agility Jin Long shows some weaknesses on the battlefield. We gave him a bunch of smaller buffs to make him stronger.

Ellyn: Our Hammer Girl seems to be very powerful. Her Hammerfall is really giving her enemies plenty of headaches. We needed to increase her cooldowns a bit.

Removed Super Minions in 2v2 Gamemode

  • After killing a tower in the quick 2v2 mode, your minions are no longer upgraded to super minions.
  • Context: When you are already winning a game by killing a Tower, you could previously finish the game easily with your super minions. Losing teams now have a better chance of coming back. The 4v4 map still has the logic that you get super minions if you destroy the enemy Inhibitors on the bottom lane.

More Tower Energy

  • Increased Towers Energy by ~10% so they can shoot more often before they run out.
  • Context: We generally like that Towers lose Energy while shooting, so they can be killed more easily if you keep the pressure up. It was slightly too easy though and we want Towers to pose a threat a little longer.

Stat Cap: Cooldown Reduction

  • Cooldown Reduction is now capped at 40%. Sorry.
  • Context: While it was amusing, it breaks too many skills and game mechanics if we allow more than 40% Cooldown Reduction. Please check your custom item decks and make sure you don't try to buy more than 40%.

  • Improved the Item Decks you use with a free-to-play Hero. Custom Decks unchanged.
  • Fixing duplicate item in Keely's deck.

Bugfixes

  • Fixed Effects frequently not drawing, especially Tower Shots and Hero death effects.
  • Fixed issue that prevented payment via Xsolla
  • Fixed crash that occurred when walking into the enemy healing fountain.
  • Dead players are no longer removed due to inactivity while Sudden Death is active.
  • Fixed errors that caused server timeouts.
  • Fixed Shakkur's dagger double throw bug
